For one and a half days last week the agent along with tiie help of Mrs. J. P. Cook and other members of the Flint Hill H.D.club tied springs and padded a studio couch, belonging to Mrs. J. P. Cook. It was a big job, but, I believe all that were present will agree that the sofa was greatly improved. «
The Huntly H.D. club met at the home of Mrs. Minnie Fox, March 21. The meeting was conducted by the president, Mrs. Lewis Harrison. At demonstration on “What to Know in Buying Fabric for the Living Room,” was given by Mrs. Pearl Mills and Mrs. Lewis Harrison. Mrs. Harrison pinch hit for Mrs. Louise Mills, who was supposed to give the demonstration, but, due to illness could not attend the meeting.
Mrs. J. N. Flythe gave a splendid demonstration to the Flint Hill Home Demonstration club, March 21. The subject of the demonstration was “What to Know in Buying Fabrics for the Living Room.” It was decided at this meeting, that, at least a car load of memers would attend the District H,D. meeting in Fairfax, May 2. The hostess, Mrs. Goode served delicious pie and coffee to the group present. Needless to say this was enjoyed by all.
