Cross Meeting
The local Red Cross Chapter was host to a district meeting of the Red Cross at Lee Highway Hotel last Wednesday, March 22. Fifteen people were present, representing several adjacent county chapters. Mr. Hines from the district office in Ricmond discussed the pensions and compensations of dependents of World War I and World War II as well as the servicemen’s insurance.
