Garden Club Meeting
At Lee Highway Hotel
The Rappahannock Garden Club met Wednesday afternoon at the Lee Highway Hotel in Sperryville with Mrs. J. G. Revercomb, Mrs. S. E. Hening and Mrs. John Revercomb as joint hostesses.
Mrs. Grimes of the Wayneshoro Nursery showed some slides of flowers, shrubs and gardens near Waynesboro.
The club members decided to hold an election of officers at the April meeting, preceding the time when the club will become federated in the month of May. Those appointed on the nomnating committee were Mrs. William R. Williamson, chairman; Mrs. S. E. Sening, and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh.
Work will start right away on plans for the plant sale and the garden tour of various homes.
The exhibits were on Spring flower arrangement. Mrs. J. G. Revercomb received the highest score on her arrangement, Mrs. S. E. Hening, the second, and the third highest rating was received by Mrs. E. M. Jones, who also received the highest .core on her miscellanous arrangement.
