Garden Club To Sponsor
Plant Sale
The Rappahannock Garden club will sponsor a plant sale to be held Saturday, April 15, at the Courthouse, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. In case of bad weather the sale will be held the following Saturday at the same time. A list of the plants to be sold will bet listed at a future date.
Choirs To Give Cantata
The public is invited to an Easter Cantata given by the choirs of the Washington Baptist and Methodist churches, Friday evening, April 7, at 8:00. The choir will present “The Christ Everlasting” by Roger C. Wilson. Mrs. Catherine Cahen is director of the choir and Miss Lucy Mae Smith is accompanist.
Correction
By error the name of Haywood Huff of Hampton Roads was omitted from the list of surviving brothers and sisters of Mrs. Louella Manuel Huff. The paper last week stated two brothers when it should have read three brothers and four sisters.
