A mooting was,field by the Castleton H.D. club, March 22. Although it was a bad rainy day, 11 were present. It was decided that for an extra meeting, the club would take “Refinishing Furnit, re.” A demonstration was given by the agent on “What to know in Buying Fabrics for the Living Room.” Refreshments served by the hostess, Mrs. Mamie Leake, were most tasty.
Chester Gap Home Demonstration club met at the home of Mrs. Rubv Wines, March 23. The club reported having paid their Federation dues of $3.00, also, having paid for the vanilla extract they are selling, and, winding up with a goodly amount in the treasury. An extra merting o'f "fMip Covering” will he held in April. As the goal for this year is Living Room Improvement, this demonstration will tie in nicely with the year’s goal. A garden meeting was announced for the 13th of April. Then a demonstration on “What to Know in Buying Fabrics for the Living Room’,’ was given by the agent. Mrs. Wines served the group very delicious lemonade and cookies.
Mrs. Milton Sisk was hostess to the new F.T. Valley H.D. club Me’.'' 21. The meeting opened with the Home Makers Creed. Then the agent gave a short talk on the Home Demonstration hand books, and of the Home Demonstration work in general. A demonstration on “Salad Mating and How they Knkance the Food Value in a I.i nch or dinner” was given by the agent. The hostess baked a delicious cake for the • meeting. This certainly was very tasty.
