Y The Julie Hagood Missionary Society of the Flint Hill Baptist church met Friday evening at the • home of Rev. and Mrs. M. E. Sliger. Mrs. Billy Gilbert was in charge of the program, which waa a candle light installation service for the incoming officers of 1961. The new officers elected were Mrs. Charles Wood, president; Mrs. David Corbin, vice-president; Mrs. Billy Gilbert^ program chairman; Mrs. W. A. Moore, secre* tary; Mrs. Embry Russell, treasurer; Mrs. Sliger community mission chairman; Mrs. B. J. Wood, mission study chairman; and-Mrs. Lewis Moore, social chairman.

WASHINGTON BAPTIST MISSIONARY SOCIETY MEETS

The Woman's Missionary Society of the Washington Baptist ehorch met Tuesday, January 9, at the. Church with Mrs. J. Frinlc Jones, president, conducting the meeting. The subject for the meeting was “Ye Are Witnesses.” It was taken from an article in Royal Service, written by Dr. Robert G. Lee, president of the Southern Baptist Convention. 'A general discussion was held by the member* ' present. The next meeting will be held February <5 at the church.
