County News Notes

Mr. and Mrs. P. Clyde Baggarly had as their guest at “Avon Hall” Sunday Harry H. Carter, of Washington, D.C.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson and daughter were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keyser at their home “The Oaks.”

Mrs. T. C. Lea and Miss Mary Massie Lea motored to Washington, D.C., Friday to meet Miss ' Ann Harris of Galveston, Texas, who was their guest for the week end. Miss Lea ahd Miss Harris returned to Stuart Hall Monday. Miss Shirley Lewis of Front Royal was also a guest for the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. .Lea.

Mr. and Mrs. Eulis Scott and children and John Scott, of Washington, D.C., were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Scott of Caatleton.

Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Compton were in Richmond for the day Tuesday.

Mrs. Downing Wood and infant daughter Frances Downing, returned to their home last Wednes, day from Front Royal hospital. Thursday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrq. John Sours were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hensley, Johnny Woodward, Charles Bailey and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Scott.
