Rappahannock News moved the first of the year into their new office. The first subscription for the new year was sold to Bucky Lewis, of Eperryville, to be sent to his mother, Mrs. Virginia M. Lewis. • The first piece of job printing was ordered by Bill Varner, of Sperryville, who also spent the first day of the year with Joe Hawkins working in the News office getting electricity connected to all the machinery.
