Saturday and Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Dennis were Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Anderson of Washington, D.C., and Guthrie J. Beddingfield of Fort Belvoir.
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Hackley of Amissville spent Sunday with the former’s sister and brother-inlaw Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Estes. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Burke visited them in the evening.
Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Pendleton have as their guests this week Mrs. John Elliott and son Billy of Fanwood, NJ. Mr. Elliott, who is on a business trip in the West, will join his family at the “Rectory” Saturday. Also over the week end Dr. and Mrs. Pendleton had as their guests Miss El Pendleton and Miss Josephine Chisholm, of Charlottesville. Jimmy Johnson returned to the University of Virginia on Wednesday, where he is enrolled in the medical school, he was accompanied by his parents Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.
