Mrs. Carrol Menefee was a week-end guest of her sister Mrs. Frank Bennett in Culpeper. Pvt. Carroll Menefee returned on Tuesday of last week to the Naval Air Base at Chanute Field, 111. after having spent a ten-day furlough with his mother and sister.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Rode* Brown attended the funeral on Friday of her aunt Mrs. James H. Smith in Madison.
Mrs. Croppa, Mrs. Thelma Button, of Jeffersonton and Miss ■Virginia Tapp spent last Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Charlie Compton.
Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily spent the week end in Bentonville, where Elder Daily held his regular monthly services. On Friday Elder and Mrs. Clarence Frazier, of Marshall were guests in the Daily home. ;
