Rev. and Mrs. Paul Thompson and Miss Eda Finks were dinner guests Sunday of, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown at “Rock Villa."

Pvt. William “Pete" Dennis, who is stationed at Camp Pickett, . spent a five day New Year’s holiday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Dennis of Flint Hill. He returned to camp Monday evening. Miss Thelma Russell, Wallace Russell, Miss Jo Ellen Duncan, and Miss Helen Nethers accompanied him back to camp.

Mrs. H. B. Wood visited her mother Mrs. L.* C. Quaintanca Sunday evening.

Ret. Frank R. Zinn and Ret. Edward A. Lawrence of Port Geo. vG. Meade, Md., spent New Year’s holiday with their parents at Amiseville.

Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Slaughter and daughters visited Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Dennis recently. Other visitors in the Dennis home were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Tobin and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis.

Little Miss Frances Wood visited Virginia Russell on Monday.

Guests of Mrs. John Johnson on Sunday were her son Clyde Johnson and wife from Washington, D.C., another son Lewis Johnson and his wife, 'Mrs. Melvin Flaherty, of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hoffman and children of Falls Church.
