Dan and Jack(ie) Price were excused from school to help with the pig slaughtering, which they didn’t do. Kit had to be sent to school as they were afraid he might get slaughtered also.

Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller and eons have gone to Bowling Green to fetch a cook.
Mrs. Moffett: “Frank has the tailor finished your trousers?” Mr. Moffett: “No, I didn’t get them today.” Mrs. Moffett: “Well I’ll declare, this makes three times you’ve been over here after them. Nothing makes me as mad as to go to a place to get a thing and then not get it.” One mile down the road: Mrs. Moffett; Oh! Frank, don’t you know I have left all my groceries at the Sanitary.”
Those from the county who attended the horticulture meeting at Winchester on Wednesday were Mr. John Keyser, Mr. Hill O’Bannon, Mrs. Joe Kilby, Mr. Ned Johnson, Mr. W. G. Wood, Mr. R. W. Miller, Mr. R. B. Rust, Mr. R. G. Quaintance, Mr. Frank Jones and Mr. Lewis Turner. The meeting was held in the Sarah Zane Hall. The dance that evening was at the George Washington hotel. Some of the gentlemen attending, arrived, home at a very late hour.
Believe it or not but Jack Miller Has put his car in the garage every night since he got it.
