Profeasor Bradford Is survived by a daughter, Miss Amelia Bradford of Houston, Texas; a son, George Bradford of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, T. R. Bradford, of Washington, D. C.; and *elatives at Flint Hill.
Outstanding as an edueator, Judge Bradford helped Baylor (preparatory) School at Chattanooga grow from a one-room building in*T905 to its ^present leading position among private schools. *■
Born December 12, 1875, he was educated in a one-room school in Flint Hill. Later he received hia B.A. and M.A. degrees from Randolph-Macon College, Ashland.
In 1905. Prof. Bradford went to Baylor where he taught until 1911. He left temporarily to instruct at Flint Hill High School and during his stay in Rappahannock he also worked as a bank cashier. He returned to Baylor in 1920 and remained there until his retirement two years ago.
