Flint Hill Bank Reports

Successful Year

With 176 shares present and by proxy, the stockholders of the First National Bank of Flint Hill met at the bank building Tuseday morning at 10 o’clock.

A dividend of 3% was declared and a successful year of operation' <was shown by the report of the cashier, John S. Browning. It was noted that $1000 was added to the surplus, and that during the year the zecordak, a machine used for recording by photograph, had been purchased where previously it had been rented.

The reading of the report sho^. ' ed an increase in deposits and a substantial increase in loans. The seven directors named were; John S. Browning, Frank H. Cary, Herbert Foster, William W. Miller, John R. Moore, Jr., R. B. Rust, and G. W. Smith, Jr.

At the meeting of the board of directors, following the stockholders’ meeting, the following officers were elected: Frank H. Cary, president; William W. Miller, vice-president; John S. Browning, cashier, and Gaynelle P. Rus. sell, assistant cashier.
