Sperryville No. 2 4-H club met Friday, November 2. During the business meeting Melvin Settle was elected song leader. Finance committee appointed were Jane Nicholas, Robert Settle end Tommy Wayland.
During the project demonstration the importance of eating a balanced meal was stressed.
Amissville 4-H club met Friday, November 2. During the business meeting the following committee chairmen were selected: Finance, Sherlean Dodson; School, Jane Riley.
Joyces1 Walter is in charge of program for December meeting. The demonstration given was on threading needle, basting and hemming. Mrs. Standish Riley, the club leader helped the girts in straightening and hemming their towels.
Flint Hill 4-H c?ub met Monday, November 5. Mildred Sisk was appointed chairman of finance, with Polly Nethers and Eulice Wines helping. School committee selected were Bradley Williams, chairman; Robert Brady and Lynn Atkins. Those appointed on sick committee were Sara Fly the, chairman; Paula Miller and Luer osica, charge of program for December. A new member to join was Gertrude Shipp. During the project demonstration the importance of eating a balanced diet was stressed. The girls made a basic seven chart. Paula Miller will give a demonstration on keeping chart of food eaten at the next meeting. 'The yearbook committee met at the home of Mrs Clarence Itacer Thursday, November 1. The yearbooks will be ready by the December meetings. Members of the committee were Mrs. Clarence Racer, Mrs. Standish Riley, Mrs. Jessie Rowzie and the agent.
