These bedroom furniture pieces take their name from—Dorothy ROj1 inson ... a very real person, who today represents the fifth generation of her family . . . and it is in the old Robinson Family home which dates back to 1838 that we “discovered" some original antiques' to give us the inspiration for creating the reproductions pictured herewith.
Not all “old” furniture is worthy of reproduction and the same is true of some so-called colonial antiques—but once in a long time we come upon a “gem" piece—so delicate in proportion and style as to literally label itself a masterpiece—and that is what we discovered in the old family home—a spool bed and dresser, more than 150 years old probably, but perfect in that kind of perfection you can see at a glance. So we copied these pieces and from them created the necessary companion pieces to make the Dorothy Robinkon Group; authentic to the last detail,
even to tim solM mshOgany'used thrOughfitir’ and the Colonial design that is our Early American Heritage. A smooth hand-rubbed
