Teen-Age Club Names
Officers and Rules
Teen-ag«rs of Rappahannock met Tuesday evening to organize the Rappahannock Teen-Age Club, elect officers, and set up necessary rules for the organization.
Elected president was William Armentrout of Woodville. William Burke was elected treasurer. Directors named are Miss Barbara Black, ,Miss Joan Brown, Miss Peggy Anne Green, Miss Betty Snead, Miss Helen Nethers, Harold Brown, apd Newbill Miller.
The first meeting will be held Friday night, November 9, at the Sperryville School as temporary quarters until permanent meeting place can be established.
The Sperryville P.-T.A., in a meeting Tuesday evening, agreed to sponsor the Teen-Agers until permanent directors can be named. The present sponsoring committee is Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., chairman, with Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. William J. Brown, and W. H. Lyne.
The rules, as written by the Teen-Agers, are:
Ages: 13-19. Over 19 must be in school, or a guest of a member.
Enter by membership card.
A member allowed one guest a week.
