Richard M. Burke

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, afternoon from Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper, for Richard M. Burke, retired farmer, who died at his home at Boston on Sunday morning1, November 4. Rev. S. Felton Carter conducted the services and interment was in the family cemetery at Boston.

Mr. Burke, 70, was the son of Nalle Burke and Mrs. Mollie Johnston Burke of Rappahannock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Reggie Smith Burke; a son, Harry Burke, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Burke Weaver, of Boston.

Pallbearers were Carlyle Brown, Jackson Johnston, Bernard Weaver, Allie Yager, Jackson Weaver, Daniel Weaver, and Harry Brown.
