Warrenton Horse Show

Announces Fall Date ;

* The Warrenton Horse Show Association will present its 53rd annual Labor Day Show Saturday, Sunday and Monday the 30, and 31st of August and 1st of September, president William, N. Wilbur announced. This outstanding sporting and social event will be held at the Association’s newly returfed grounds in Warrenton, the center of the Virginia hunt country. „

Entries are being received from all over the United States to vie for the $4700 in prize money. Money, however; is not the only incentive for the contestants seek the blue ribbons and pieces of silver plate which mark the highest awards for their efforts. The John Barton Payne Memorial Trophy valued at $3500 is just one of these coveted awards. The entry deadline is August 13.
