SUPERVISORS MEET
The Board of Supervisors met Wednesday morning, August 6, in the Courthouse with four members present. J. P. Cook acted as chairman in place of W. C. Campbell, who was out of town in attendance at a funeral.
Mrs. Buntin appeared before the board and requested that insertion be made" into the budget of $6985.30, which the county appropriated to welfare for 1951-52. This is the same amount appropriated last year, but $900 less than the amount asked for. Upott motion of A. H. Buckner, seconded by Edward Estes, this was passed. Regular bills were paid.
Rayner V. Snead asked the Board to request the State Corporation Commission to continue the bus service through the county. This motion was made by A. C. Latham and seconded by A. H. Buckner, and unanimously passed.
