Commission to Decide

On Bus Service

Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Mr*. George H. Davis and R. V. Snead appeared before the State Corporation Commission , in Richmond, Wednesday, August" 6, to make a plea for the continuation < of the bus line through Rappahannock. Even though the committee was given the assurance that their matter would be given due consideration, no encouragement was given.

The committee’s second plea was, if the present bus line would discontinue, would it give up the franchisee from Fredericksburg to Winchester, thereby giving a chance to secure another bus. line. That too was given promise of'due considera< tion and to be notified in the near future.
