Amissville News Notes
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Andersqn and Peyton Anderson of Arlington were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. A.C Latham at Amissville.
Master Wendell Latham, who has been spending the summer with his grandparents at Amissville returned to his home at Waterloo Tuesday.
W. E. Duncan and son, William of Washington, D. C. motored to Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where they attended a family reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norvel Duncan.. Returning with Mr. Duncan for a weeks visit were Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Duncan and daughter, Jennie Milton of Lakeland, Florida and Miss Mary Duncan of Newbern, N„ C.
Mr.- and Mrs. Harry Emerson and children of Washington, D. C. were visitors in the home in Air. Duncan’s absence. _
Misses Beverly, Jo, Nancy and Judy Latham spent several days last week as guests of their grandparents, Mr. arid Airs. A. C. Latham and enjoyed swiming at “Double Ford,” a popular beach for the children and grown-ups these hot days.
