Two Hurt As Motorcycle and
Car Collide ,
Two men from Arlington were injured and their motorcycle completely demolished as they collided with a car driven by Mrs. Elizabeth Mealoy Thompson of Sperryville, about one mile South of-Washington, about 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
State Treoper William A. Buatin reported that as Mrs. Thompson was coming from Mac’s filling station, her car collided with a motorcycle driven by Stanley Carl Heatwoll accompanied by Douglas F. Shirley, both of Arlington.
Mr. Heatwole and Mr. Shirley were given first aid treatment by a physician, who was traveling behiad them. Afterwards they were rushed to Front Royal Hospital, then to Mt. Alto. , ■ t
Mr. Heatwoll suffered compound fracture of left leg and arm and is on the critical list. Mr. Shirley received minor injuries of the face and head. Mrs. Thompson’s car was damaged slightly and she received no wowads but is suffering from shock.
