ATTEND FUNERAL

Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea and family, Mary Massie and ^ Carlyle -of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lea of Florida were called to the home of their, father because of his illness. Sunday night, Joe Lea passed away with heart trouble in his father’s home. Funeral services were conducted at Grace Episcopal Church, at Massie’s Mill at 10 a.m.

Grassland Tour

Virginia is one of six southern states to be visited during four group tours to be sponsored by the Sixth International Grassland Congress bfrom August 24 to September 6, says Dr. Roy Blaser, agronomist at ,VPI ^Agricultural Experiment Station. The tours will be held in four different areas to'show accomplicshment in grass farming of the United States and Canada, both on actual farms and at research and educational institutions. The tours are mainly for the benefit "of foreign delegates to the Congress. .
