Mr. Rappahannock Farmer, should Mr. Hall or Dr. Hall, come to the county to live, remember, you must give him your veterinary business. This could be the chance you have been looking for. There is no way to determine financial loss to the county’s livestock industry because of the lack of, or difficulty in getting, competent veterinary service.
Goodness knows a good veterinarian is as important to our livestock industry as is a M. D. to our people. Jim and I may be successful in getting a Vet here, but it will take you and you. and you to keep him. He can’t survive anywhere without the support of livestock owners and owners of pets. That’s for sure.

Farmer reports received last : fall on bulls in Culpeper Feed Test were contradictory. Some thought them to be the sorriest lot ever seen there; others felt they were the best. So . . . personal comments are reserved until I can see for myself.
The 84-day progress report shows an average daily gain of 2.49 lbs. which is good growth rate especially when we think of December weather and know the brutes were in the open.
