A grand surprise package was given away at 9:00 p.m. and Edward Clark was the lucky winner of it, a live rooster. Tops in the bubble gum contest was Mrs.Nora Groover first with Dotty Davis quite close and Cil Davis coming in third. Mrs. Emily Miller and Mrs. Dorothy Davis were strong contenders but they did little better than the children. Carolyn Johnston was a big hit as fortune teller and she used a crystal ball, tea leaves and palmistry to predict the future.
