Approximately thirty people attended a family picnic Sunday at the home of Mrs.Mary Krause celebrating the birthdays of Lewis Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Moore and Jeffrey Dearing, son of Me and Mrs. Lyde Dearing. Among those enjoying a 4th of July picnic on Skyline Drive were Mrs. Thelma Russell J. G. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Pullen were guests at a birthday dinner Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Pullen in Front Royal. Mr.and Mrs. Lloyd Pullen’s Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Anderson of Ronson, West Virginia. Major and Mrs. R. J. Petersen and three children Susar Bobby and Ken of Arlingtor were guests last Tuesday oi Mrs. Petersen's mother Mrs. James M, Settle. Major Petersen will leave August 1 for a year's Army duty in Korea.
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin of Annandale were here on Sunday and attended the Metho dist Sunday School picnic with Mrs. Corbin’s parents Mr.and Mrs. Herbert Foster.
