buffalo hide of the life of Chief Big Mountain, Blackfoot chief of Montana. The community is grateful to Mr. William M. Carrigan, Chairman of the Board, for his untiring efforts and interest displayed in bringing this collection of Indian Art to the Library. Thanks are due also to the hostesses and all others who added to the pleasant atmosphere of the Open House, Early in the evening many enjoyed a picnic style supper on the grounds of the town marker served by a committee of volunteers for the benefit of the Library. This proved to be so popular it is hoped that it may become an annual affair. The Library Board wishes to express its appreciation to all those who worked so willingly to make it a success.
’As & grand climax to the Independence Day observance many people enjoyed the colorful lumanarl display and brilliant fireworks at Avon Hall. An increasingly large number enjoy this annual event and none were disappointed this year and great appreciation was Expressed for the privilege.
