A new application marked REPLACEMENT must be submitted for the grave marker of the deceased veteran concerned. The application should be accompanied by a covering letter giving the reason for the replacement request. The letter and the application will aid the Army In locating the veteran's file and original application. Any person or organization having Interest in an unmarked grave or knowledge of a grave In need of a replacement marker may make application. The form to use Is Department of Defense form 1330, which form may be obtained from my office. Edward M. Mathews, of the Front Royal Office of the Division of War Veterans’ Claims, Is In Washington at the Clerk’s Office on 1st and 3rd Monday from 2:00 to4;00p.m. and will gladly give more details on this subject or any other matter connected with veteran’s affairs.
