One Traffic Mishap
In Holiday Week-end
Only one traffic mishap was reported over the holiday week end in Rappahannock with no serious personal injury butj damage to the vehicles wasex-* tensive. The accident o c c u r-rJ
ed April 16 on Route 522 in j Sperryville. Herbert Vernon Leake of j Sperryville operating a 60-61 Buick station wagon, makings left turn into a driveway, struck the left front of an on coming vehicle, a 59 Ford pick j up driven by Isaac Cecil Seal of Stanley. The Leake car was knocked around in the road and was struck by another approaching vehicle, a 63 Chevrolet sedan operated by Nancy Joanne Tucci of Orlando, Fla. according to Trooper W. A. Buntin. There were no injuries, but damage was estimated at $650 to the Seal truck; $500 to the Leake station wagon; and $250 to the Tucci car.

‘Mustang’ Birthday
L. V. Merrill, owner and opertor of Merrill Motor Company, Washington, attend ed a dinner meeting of the Ford Motor Company held Monday, April 19 at the Marriott Motor Hotel in Arlington. The dinner was in celebration of the first birthday of the ‘Mustang* Ford’s newest addf tion to their automotive line. The Mustang was introduced to the public last April and nearly a half million of them have been sold.
