Tuesday, April 27. The workshop will be held at the L. J. Kilby summer cottage, east of Sperryville, and everyone is welcome to join the group. You may bring your own sup plies, or you may purchase paper, paints, charcoal, and chalk for 15C The following articles will be very helpful, so bring them with you:
1. Stiff cardboard or writing board to work on. 2. Hair clips or clothes pins to clip paper to the board. 3. Muffin tins, if you plan to use water paint. 4. Large apron or smock and a rag. Bring your lunch and spend the day.
HD Club Activities
The County Share-the-Fun Contest will be held Friday, April 30th, at 7:30 p. m. at the Washington Elementary School. The winning junior act will receive a scholarship to 4-H County Camp, August 16-21, and the winning senior act will receive a scholarship to State 4-H Short Course at V. P. I., June 28July 3rd. All Rappahannock 4-H members are eligible to enter the contest. Entries must be submitted to the County Agent’s office, Washington, Virginia no later than April 28th. 4-H Club meetings during the coming week are: Rappahannock Senior Club April 27 at 12:45 p. m. Flint Hill Horse and Pony Club at home of Mrs. Paul Miller on April 28th at 7:00! p. m.
