Sponsor Box Supper
The Washington Methodist Church will sponsor a box Supper tomorrow, June 18, 1965. The menu includes Fried Chicken, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Tomatoes, Deviled Eggs, Pickles, Rolls, and Sheet Cake and the price is $1.25. Suppers may be picked up at the Episcopal Parish Hall or will be delivered if requested. Tickets may be purchased from any member of the Washington Methodist Church.
Thornton Gap Annual Union Meeting
The Annual Union Meeting of Thornton’s Gap Primitive Baptist Church will be held the 3rd Saturday and Sunday in June at the Auditorium. This meeting has formerly been held in October. The Pastor, Elder W. T. Daily has announced the speakers for the two-day session will be Elder Earl Daily of Indianapolis, Ind., Elder Joy Vanderson, from Illinois, Elder W. H. Lewis of Keeling as well as home ministers.
