Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Anderson we re Edward Anderson of Glen Burnie, Md., Mrs. Anna Sisk, Mrs. Doris Baumgardner and son Jay of Baltimore. Miss Lottie Burton returned home Monday after spending the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Walter in Middletown. Mrs. J. N. Miller returned home Tuesday after being a surgical patient the past week at Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Smith of Fairfax and son David B. Smith, Jr. of Olney, Illinois were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith at Spring House Farm. Miss Lee Smith and Miss Molly Smith, with Miss Heila Hale of Rappahannock, left Wednesday by plane for a student tour of various European countries. Recent guests of Mrs. R. L. Cheatham and Arthur Cheatham at Mountain Green were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Erickson of Wichendon, Mass. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott and Mrs. Frances Jaeger of Warrenton. Among those attending funeral services for Major James P. Yancey Thursday in Culpeper were W. Arthur Miller, Mrs. James M. Settle and Miss Mary Miller Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fincham were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Leonard and son Timothy in Arlington. Sat urday afternoon Mrs. Fincham attended the Ashby-Clarke wedding at Forrest Methodist Church. Mr. Fincham attended the Senators-White Sox baseball game in Washington, D.C. *
