NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries on May 7, 1965 adopted the following amended Regulations:
2. Quail, Rabbit, Grouse Seasons and Bag Limits: (a) West of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it shall be lawful to hunt quail, rabbit and grouse from the first Monday in November through January 31.
(b) East of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it shall be lawful to hunt rabbit and grouse from the third Monday in November through January 31 except in the counties of Accomack and Northampton the rabbit season shall close on January 15.
(c) East of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it shall be lawful to hunt quail from the third Monday in November through February 15 except in the counties of Amherst, Nelson and Rappahannock the quail season shall close on January 31.
(d) The bag limits shall be as follows: Quail, 8 a day, 125 a license year; rabbit, 6 a day, 75 a license year; grouse, 3 a day, 15 a license year.
2.1 Turkey Season and Bag Limit: (a) West of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it shall be lawful to hunt turkey from the first Monday in November through December 15, and east of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it shall be lawful to hunt turkey from December 15 through January 15, except there shall be a closed turkey season in the counties of Accomack, Alleghany in the Gathright Management Area only, Arlington, Bath in the Gathright Management Area only, Bland, Buchanan, Buckingham, Carroll, Charles City, Clarke, Culpeper, Dickenson, Essex, Fairfax, Floyd, Franklin, Gloucester, Grayson, Greene, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, Henry, Isle of Wight, James City, King George, King William, Lancaster, Lee, Loudoun, Madison, Mathews, Mecklenburg, Middlesex, Nanseraond, Northampton, Northumberland, Page, Patrick, Pulaski, Rappahannock, Richmond, Russell Scott, Smyth, South
