Barton Quaintance of Seaford, Del., his mother Mrs. R. W. Quaintance and aunt i Miss Elsie Ramsey took a trip to Nelson County recently.! Spending nights in Roanoke and Richmond, they returned, home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers of Holly Spring Farm left Thursday for Atlanta, Ga. During their three weeks’ vacation they will visit Mrs. Bigger’s sisters Mrs. John Oliver and Miss My rtle Butler and her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. James Sneed and her brother Sidney Butler, all of Atlanta. Mr. Bigger’s sister Mrs. C. D. Teal and nephew Branham Felker of Covington, his brother and sister-in-law Mr, and Mrs. Evan Biggers of Macon.
The Rev. and Mrs. Dotj Bryan and son Kyle of Novum were Sunday dinner guests of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Norman Wilbur and daughter Norma Lee. Mrs. Russell Settle accompanied her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Luther Elkins of Charleston, W. Va. to Lancaster, Pa. on Tuesday where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin G. Shipe and family. Tuesday of last week Mrs. Chester Weaver and granddaughter Mary Ann Weaver of Boston spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier. Their granddaughter Miss Fatty Faye Wood of Alexandria was a week-end guest. Mr. and Mrs. Elza A. Cave and family of Banco were Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and family. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Anna Dodson were Mr. and Mrs. At her Sisk of Alexandria, Mrs. Dodson’s aunt Mrs. Will Dodson of Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nicholson of Net hers.
