Old Mother Nature has arrayed herself in her best bib’n’tucker in p repa ration fo r all the events planned by mortals in Rappahannock for this tour weekend. The Women of Bromfield Parish are putting final touches on arrangements of dried flowers for tour houses which will be open from 11-5 on Saturday and on Sunday from 1-5. These a rrangements will be for sale both at the Parish Hall and in the Touthouses.
Chestnut Cove, home of Mr and Mrs. Carson Johnson, Sperryville is being decorat ed by Mrs. Charles H. Kstes who is noted for her unusual containers featuring line arrangements. Dried flowers for Caledonia, owned by Mr. and Mrs. William Pullen, Flint Hill are being arranged by Mrs. R. V. Snead and Mrs. Elmo Flynt in the Williamsburg manner. Meadowbrook Hall, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. William Ratcliff, Huntly has Christine Johnston Matilda Walker and Dotsy Davis busily preparing arrangements suitable for its stately rooms. Mrs. W. A. Miller is chairman of the tea which will be served each afternoon at the Parish Hall from 3-5 featuring homemade cookies. The Arts and Craft exhibit
