Mrs. W. Arthur Miller, Mrs. W. M. Fletcher, Miss Annie Stephenson and Mrs. Edwin Gibson of Culpeper spent Wednesday of last week in Richmond. Mrs. Miller visited Mr. John Caskie and Mrs. A. J. Brent. Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. spent from Wednesday until Friday of last week visiting relatives in Spartanburg, S. C. Page and Cal Lea spent that time with their grandmother Mrs. Thomas Howie in Staunton. Guests last Sunday of the Misses Essie and Lucy Estes at Millmont were Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pearson and daughter of Vienna and Mrs. Mamie Wrenn of Washington, D. C. Gther guests were Mrs. Hernson Hudson and children and Mrs. Edward Hudson and children.
Mrs. Mildred Smith returned to her home at Echo Hill Farm Thursday afternoon where she is recuperating satisfactorily after being hoapitalized at Warren Memorial Hospital. Among those attending churches services Sunday at the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church were Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell, Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Miss Annie Cooksey, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and Ned Moffett Jones. Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Melton of Herndon were also in attendance. Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Moffett and Miss Annie Cooksey visited Mrs. Holmes Hall Sunday at the Lee Highway Hotel. Mrs. Hall has been ill there for some time and is attended during the day by Mrs. Virginia Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer returned home Monday evening after visiting their son Stewart Palmer at Carlisle Military Academy at Bamberg, S. C. over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer are spending several weeks at their home in Pas-a-Grillq, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Snead of Woodbridge were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland.
