Joseph B. Keesee has been appointed County Supervisor of the Farmers Home Administration at Culpeper, succeeding Phelps Walker, who has (been transferred to state headquarters of F.H.A. in Richi mond, where he will serve in the new position of assistant communtiy services officer,
Keesee is a 1964 animal science graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He served both the F.H.A. in Lexington and Extension Service in Pulaski prior to coming to Culpeper as Assistant County Supervisor in August. The Culpeper Office serves the counties of Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, prince William, Rappahannock and Stafford. The agency makes loans to farmers, rural residents, rural groups, associations, small towns and communities for a variety of purposes ranging from agricultural, recreational and community water systems to Economic Opportunity loans for both agricultural and non-agricultural enterprises.
