Sunday of Mr. ar\d Mrs. Charles Estes at -Rose-MUl. George W. Brown had as his dinner guests on Sunday his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Smith of Washington, D. C. and his grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Gossom and their two children Mike and Julie of Falls Church. Dinner guests today of Mrs. J. H. Dally will be Elder and Mrs. W. T. Daily, Elder and Mrs. Daily Hite and Mr. and Mrs. McCurdy Curtis of OhiQ Mrs. Dally went to Luray Saturday to join Elder and Mrs. Daily, Elder and Mrs. Hite, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis and accompanied them to Martinsburg, W. Va. where they were entertained at dinner by Mrs. W. B. Barr after which Mrs. Daily was an over-night guest of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Butler. Mrs. Daily has been notified of the serious illness of her sister Mrs. Maude Dempsey in the Mt. Vernon Mercy Hospital in Ohio. Mrs. Dempsey is well known here having visited in the Daily home frequently in former years. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Miller have moved to Luray for the winter months.
