Pursuant to the provisions of a certain deed of trust executed by H. Leona King, Single, to T. Carlyle Lea, Jr., Trustee, said deed of trust being dated June 17, 1963 and recorded July 8, 1963, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 79 at-page 531, to secure the payment of a debt therein described, default having been made in the payment of said debt and at the request of the legal holder thereof (the debt and obligations secured by said deed of trust having been declared by the holder to be due and payable), the undersigned, T. Carlyle Lea, Jr., Trustee, having been requested to act by the holder of said obligation, will offer for sale at public auction, to the higher bidder or bidders at the front door of the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, on Saturday, October 22, 1965, at 10:00 A.M. (EST), the following property, to-wit:
“All that certain tract or parcel of land together with buildings and improvements thereon and privileges and appurtenances therewith connected, situate, lying and being in Jackson Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, more particularly described, as follows:
TRACT NO. 2: Beginning at a point in the center of the north end of a 40’ road, said point being 20’ westerly from a set stone, corner with other Cannon-Hoyle property; thence with the latter N 21-44 W 772.9’ to a point in an old fence line, corner with Cannon-Hoyle in the Smith line; thence wkh Smith N 46-57 E 200.0’ to a pipe at a fence corner, corner with Priest in the Smith line; thence with Priest, fence on or near line, S 59-19 E 545.5’ to a pipe at a fence corner, corner with Priest in the Green line; thence with Green, fence on line, S 37-47 W 227.6’ to a fence corner, S 43-30 E 276.5’ to a fence corner, corner with Green and the Church lot; thence with that lot S 62-37 W 407.5’ to a set stone, corner with the church at the north end of the 40* road; thence with the north end of the road S 65-44 W 20* to the beginning. This lot contains 6.87 acres.’*
TRACT NO. 3: A certain tract or parcel of land forty feet (40) in width and described as follows: Beginning at a stone 20 ft. from the S.W. corner of the 6.87 acre tract hereinbefore conveyed and running thence S 24 deg. 16 E 518.8 ft. with the line of the Amissville . Bethel Baptist Church property to State Route 642, thence with the line of said State Route 642 in a westerly direc,tion a distance of 40 ft. to a point on said highway, it being a corner to the 5.58 acre tract of the parties of the first part hereto sold to Harry L. Kidd, Jr. and Christine H. Kidd, thence with the line of the said 5.58 acre *[wt' N 24 deg. 16’ W 518.8 ft. to a point in the line of (the 8.31 acre tract hereinbefore described, thence N •5 deg. 44’ E 20’ to the S.W. Corner of said 8.31 acre tract, thence continuing N 65 deg. 44* E 20’ to set stone the point of beginning.’’
This is the same tract or parcel of land acquired by H. Leona King, by deed from Ray T. Cannon, Et al, dated
,17> 1963 recorded July 8, 1963. in the aforesaid Clerk s Office in Deed Book 79 at page 628.
