On October 7 at 6:50 a.m., a 63 Chevrolet panel truck operated by Franklin Kyle Jen kins of . Culpeper wrecked on the bridge at Fletcher’s Mijl on Route 522. Jenkins lost control of the vehicle on a curve, struck both sides of the bridge, ran down the bank and through a fence, said Trooper Buntin. The operator was not injured. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,000; to the bridge, $250 and to the fence which was on the W. M. Lane farm, $50. Jenkins was charged with failing to maintain control of his vehicle.
