‘Citizenship Award’
Martha Shillingburg, a senior at Rappahannock County High School, received the DAR Good Citizenship award last week given by the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. This chapter presented this award to a senior of Madison County High School Culpeper County High School and Rappahannock. The presentation was made last Tuesday at the DAR meeting. The recipient of this award is selected on the basis of a written autobiographical sketch and an interview in addition to recommendations by a minister, businessman and teacher and participation in school activities.

The Washington Methodist Church is having a Bake Sale, Saturday, April 9, from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. at the Church.
The Washington Elementary P.T.A. will hold a Bake Sale, Friday, April 8 at the Washington Baptist Church Educational Building starting at 10 a. m.
