NEW FUNERAL HOME IN CULPEPER PLANS EXPANSION—Culpeper Funeral Hone, Inc. opened for business on Oct. 24, 1964, at its present location, 410 S. Main St in Culpeper. The coroporatkm is composed of stockholders in Culpeper and the surrounding area, and managed by L. Bart Rainey, Jr. There has been a continuous program of improvements since its opening, which includes a spacious parking lot There is a major building and remodeling program scheduled for sometime in April. The existing building will be remodeled, and there will be an addition of over 5000 square feet of new building. The addition will include a large chapel, family room, selection room preparation room employees lounge, rest rooms and lounges, and garage space. The building is designed by Funeral Home Interiors of Columbus, Ohio. It will be one of the largest Funeral Homes in Northern Virginia and the only building in Culpeper designed specifically for a funeral home.
