Mrs. Mattie Wines returned to her home Saturday from SWarren Memorial Hospital (where she had been a patient (several days for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Campbell and the latter’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Whitback, all of Frederick, Md. were visitors Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Campbell and Mrs. Harve Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elphlnstone of Washington, D. C. spent the week-end at their home here. A group of young boys of the Chester Gap area spent Saturday night camping out at Byrd's Shelter on the Skyline Drive. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Reid of Front Royal, Mrs. Pearl Mills and granddaughter Tammy Harris of Route 522 were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Minnie Williams and family. Mrs. Harold Davis entered Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday night for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wines and family of the Strasburg Road enjoyed a picnic at Elk Wallow picnic area on the Skyline Drive Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Weltie Willis was hostess at a "Stanley party" last Friday night. Mr. and Mrs, Irvin M. Williams of Route 522 were guests from Thursday until Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson R. Williams and family in Annandale. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Williams and family of Front Royal spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. ArchieD. Bailey Jr. andfamilyat Falls Church. The two families enjoyed sightseeing with their hosts, visited the National Airport and the rodeo in Fairfax. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gieselman and family in Anna ndale.
