Two area men sustained severe injuries in a single car crash Saturday on Route 211, two miles west ofSperryville. Hospitalized are William Henry Dodson, 19, of Boston and William Bryant Dodson, 23, ofWoodville. Both are patients in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, where they were taken by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. William Henry Dodson received a fractured right leg and lacerations of the head. William Bryant Dodson suffered a fractured left arm, lacerations of the head, shoulder and right hand. According to a report by Trooper J. B. Willis, William Henry Dodson was operating a 62 Pontiac Tempest owned by Piedmont Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc. of Culpeper. He failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right of the road and overturned backwards across the road. The vehicle came to rest on the top. William Henry Dodson was charged with reckless driving.
