After a delightful home style country dinner, many associates of Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Winfrey had a word of congratulation. Mrs. Leslie Fo> Keyser, retired Supervisor, welcomed them into the “age of opportunity”; the opportunity to do the many things which they have always wanted to do but never found the time. Former Superintendent of Schools, Q. D. Gasque, added a word of congratulations. Mrs, Casque was also present. Entertainment in the form of a puppet show was presented by Judge T. Carlyle Lea and Mrs. Eva Smith. The script had been written by Mrs. Matilda Walker. A skit, “Mush and Poke,” was given by Brenda Hackley and Janet Hackley. Among others attending the dinner were Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett of Washington, who taught many years in Rappahannock.
