Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and the Harry Gallihugh’s were Mr. and Mrs. George Autry and son Georgie of Washington, D. C. and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb and children Randy and “Ginger*. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Gray and little son Jeff of Arlington spent the weekend at their country cottage here. The community was very sorry to learn of the sudden illness of the Rev. Paul Davis of Culpeper. He is a former pastor of the North Madison Charge. Mr. and Mrs. James Yates of Meadow Green have returned home after having spent several months in Alexandria with Mr. Yate’s brother E. M. Yates, Jr. who was recovering from a spinal operation. Mrs. Stuart Butler of Slate Mills was a dinner guest Friday of Mrs. James E. Yates at Meadow Green. Sgt. and Mrs. James White and family have returned from Germany after a year’s stay. They are making their home at present with Sgt. White’s parents, the Irvin Whites. Irvin White remains a patient in the Martinsburg hospital. He is visited regularly by his family.
