Dr. T. R. Monks
Dr. T. R. Monks of Washington, D. C. and Amissville died May 21, 1966 in Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, . Md. after suffering a heart attack. Dr. Monks had practiced oral dental surgery since 1936, and at the same time was a professor of anesthesiology at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He was a native of Elmira, N. Y. and was educated at St. Bonaventure University, the University of Virginia and Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Berlin Monks; one daughter, Mary Margaret Monks; four sons, Thomas, Daniel, Fred and James Monks, Mass was held at the Church of the Annunciation on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
