in school and in later years taught with her. Miss Carolyn Turner, a teacher in Henrico County, was present as a guest of her mother, a teacher at Washington Elementary. Miss Turner was a grade and high school student of Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Winfrey.
Miss Mary Bruce, retired from Rappahannock, now living in Culpeper Joined her old associates for the dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Fry of Winchester were among the guest* Mr. Frye taught at Washington High School from 1936-42. Mrs. Hazel Van Anden, a form er school official was there. Many present faculty members of the county were present, as well as some members of the School Board and Board of Supervisors of the County. Personnel of the school administration office in Front Royal attended to add best wishes along with many other friends.
Flintridge Farm

“Flintridge Farm" 525-acre cattle farm and orchard near Massie's Corner just south of Flint Hill, has been sold by Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Read of Milwaukee to Mr. and Mrs. John J. Dwyer, attorneys of McLean, Virginia, who also own the old Cooksey Farm east of Flint Hill.
The property, which has about a mile of frontage on both sides of U. S. Highways 211 and 522, is better known as the old "Jake" Keyser Farm. It was later owned by Delbert Robinson, orchardist of Winchester, who in turn sold it to the Reads.
