Mrs. Mint* Richardson
Mrs. Mints Wise Richards or died Sunday, May 22, 1966 in a Richmond hospital. She had been residing at the Masonic Home of Virginia in Richmond Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Rowzie of Amissville; a son, Hampton Wise Richardson of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother Coreze Wise of San Jose, Calif; and four grandchildren. ~ A funeral service was held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Woody Funeral Home in Richmond with interment in Crewe Cemetery, Crewe, Va. Mrs. Richardson is a former Rappahannock resident, living a number of years in Amissville.
Mrs. Lavenia Birch
Mrs. Alice Lavenia Johnson Birch of Falls Church died May 17, 1966 at Arlington Hospital. She was the wife of George Louis Birch who survives her. Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia Louise Birch, and a son, Philip Lewis Birch; five brothers, Dalton, James R., Oden, Benton and Mid Johnson. She was a niece of Mrs. C. J. Moss of Amissville and Mrs. Lacy Wilkerson, Front Royal. A funeral service was held Friday from the Ives Funeral Home in Arlington and interment was in National Memorial Park. Mrs. Birch lived for many years in Rappahannock County and was graduated from the high school at Washington, ■Va.
